His hard work and attention to detail made him an invaluable member of The Pennsylvania Gas & Water Co.
Beyond his professional life, Edward was known for his profound love for his family. He always cherished spending time with them and embraced every opportunity to create lasting memories together. Edward's great sense of humor brought joy to those around him and lightened even the darkest moments.
When not working or spending time with family, Edward found solace in following all the Philadelphia Sports Teams. He was a dedicated fan who cheered on his favorite teams through both victories and defeats. Additionally, he found pleasure in vacationing on the picturesque beaches of New Jersey. Edward leaves behind a legacy that will forever be treasured by his surviving family members and friends. He is survived by his son Mark Hockenbury and Mark's wife Lisa of Royse City, TX., along with grandson Casey Hockenbury and Casey's wife Cara of College Station, TX. Edward's presence will be deeply missed by those who knew him well.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Hockenbury; daughter, Cindy Csordos Hockenbury and his brother, Ralph Hockenbury.
