Eddie Wayne Bay, age 64, of Greenville, passed away in the late evening hours of Friday, May 29, 2009 at Hunt Memorial Hospital in Greenville. He was born on January 19, 1945 in Houston, Texas to Hymas Perry and Edna Mae Powell Bay. As a young boy, Wayne lived in the small Texas town of Navasota and spent most of his time on the banks of Picketts Bayou with his childhood best friend/partner in crime (and also Aunt) Judith Ann. After high school, he enjoyed the life of the open road as a truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding horses and fishing with family and friends, but most of all loved spoiling and spending every moment possible with the light of his life, his grandkids. He was an amazing Daddy and an even better Papa. Survivors include two daughters, Alicia Ramsey and husband Casey, of Greenville, and Stephanie Pierce and husband Rocky, of West Monroe, LA; two sons, Michael and Mark Bay; grandchildren, Haley Ramsey, Nathan Pierce, and Reagan Pierce; Kimberly and Lyndsey Bay, aunts, Judith Ann (Powell) Johnson and husband Jerome and Lucille Powell; uncle, Jerry L. Powell; cousins, Felecia, Lauren Smooey , and Chris Biedenbender, Charles Jr., Teresa Kay, Charlene, and Nicole Powell, Luther Jr, Debora Joyce and Rodney Nobles, Linda and Douglas Kolajack, Richard Stroud, George and Barbara Johnson.
