Dorothy Beggs, 76, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at her home in Greenville, Texas. Dorothy was born on October 21, 1939 to Allen and Mildred Beggs in Hunt County Texas. Dorothy graduated high school and went to beauty college in New Mexico. Dorothy would be a practicing beautician for over fifty years, retiring only in 2012. Dorothy had a radiant smile, infectious laugh and a wicked sense of humor. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Mildred Beggs and her brother, Charles A. Beggs.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Brenda George; nephew Jason George (Lacey Taylor); niece, Amanda Walenski (Edward); as well as many friends and neighbors.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00pm Monday, December 7, 2015 in the Peters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hammond officiating. Burial will follow in the Humbolt Cemetery under the direction of Peters Funeral Home in Greenville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
