Don Strudwick, 90, of Allen, formerly of Greenville, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his residence. Graveside service with military honors will be 1:30pm Tuesday, November 17 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas with Carl Culpepper officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Peters Funeral Home. Donald David Strudwick was born January 20, 1925 to William T. Strudwick Sr. and Donna Bella Throne Strudwick. He married Joanna Usher who preceded him in death. He owned and operated Strudwick Construction Company in Tyler, TX for many years until he retired in 1986. He was a Lay Pastor at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Sulphur Springs and then served as a Deacon for the Greenville Seventh Day Adventist. Don is survived by his sons Gregory Strudwick and wife Annalesley of Coppell, and David Strudwick and wife Peggy of Richardson; daughters Sherri Strudwick Steenson and husband Scott of Bluff Dale, Amy Moser of East Texas, and Molly Strudwick of Houston; sister Virginia Shull of MI; 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
