Diania Bright

Funeral service for Diania L. Bright, 74, of Greenville will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Peters Funeral Home with Chaplin Samuel officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Peters Funeral Home. Diania passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at her residence in Greenville.

he was born on February 21, 1947 in Paris, TX to Raymond and Sally Smoots. Diania enjoyed painting, baking, working puzzles, fishing, listening to music and she absolutely loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her father, Raymond Smoots of Lindale; daughters, Tammy Bright-Skinner and husband, Ricky of Greenville, TX., Tonya Bright-Wimbish of Denver, CO.; grandchildren, Diania Lopez and wife, Valerie of Denver, CO., Christopher Castillo and wife, Kamie of Greenville, TX, Destiny Lynch and husband, Carey of Campbell, TX., Rachel Fogg of Alvarado, TX., Bobby Joe Fogg, Jr. of Bedford, TX.,and Elanea Dortland and husband, Eric of Campbell, TX.; great grandchildren, Ethan, Keira, Aiden Williams, Lexi and Jordan Castillo, Riley and Kylee Lynch, Aaron Skinner, Zoe and Braxton Bell, Jenna and Madison Dortland; a lifetime best friend, Judy Hathcock, as well as host of loving family and friends.

Diania was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bright,  mom, Sally Smoots; sister, Dorothy Hole; brothers, Harold Farmer, Alvin Farmer, and Travis Farmer.
