David Lee Goins, a dedicated Supervisor and talented rebuilder of car parts, passed away on July 25, 2024, in Greenville, Texas. Born on August 3, 1939, in Boswell, Oklahoma, David led a life full of remarkable achievements and cherished memories.

David's career as a Supervisor and his passion for rebuilding car parts not only showcased his skills but also reflected his relentless work ethic. His colleagues remember him for his leadership qualities and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in needed One of the mostearing aspects of David's personality was his kindness and love for people. He had an innate ability to connect with others and was admired for his intelligence and generosity. David's love for children was evident to all who knew him, earning him the title of a great uncle among his family members.

In his free time, David indulged in various hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He could often be found fishing or hunting rabbits, squirrels, and ducks in Oklahoma. His passion for building fast cars and racing them highlighted his adventurous spirit. Additionally, supporting Larry at football games and witnessing him win states brought David immense pride.

David served in the Army, a period he considered one of his proudest accomplishments alongside being a twin. He humorously recalled how his sister Marie drank all the milk during their childhood days. Retiring without any financial burdens and owning a fast car that he built were also sources of great satisfaction for David.

Among those who will forever cherish David's memory are his surviving twin sister Marie Morrison, brother Paul Morrison, nephew Thom Magers, niece Alice Magers, and countless friends.

The countless memories shared by those close to David include fishing stories, camping adventures at Lake Texoma, and a memorable trip to Washington DC with his sister. These experiences are testaments to the vibrant life that David led and the impact he had on those around him.

A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate the life of David Lee Goins will take place on July 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas. His legacy of kindness, intelligence, and love for family will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Rest in peace, David Lee Goins.
