Cynthia Cindy Warren Hamilton, age 54, of Greenville, passed away in the late evening hours of Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Hunt Regional Medical Center of Greenville. She was born on July 25, 1956 in Greenville to Melva Joe and Nancy Kate (Warren) Hamilton. Cindy worked as a healthcare aide but never considered it work. She had a caring heart and loving spirit. Cindy will be remembered as somewhat of a cowgirl who loved to sing and loved flowers but most of all she was a collector of friends. She truly loved all of her friends and family. Cindy was a member of the Aldersgate Church in Greenville. Cindy is survived by one son, Joseph Barnett of Austin; mother, Nancy Kate Hamilton of Greenville, brother, Hew Hamilton, and wife Michelle, of Greenville; sister, Kari Kate Singleterry, and husband Matt, of Waco; niece and nephews, Chance Hamilton, Zachary Hamilton, and Lindsey Hamilton, all of Greenville, and Blake Singleterry of Waco; aunt, Rosabell Warren of Greenville; and cousins, Wynn, Trey, Warren, Kenny, and Jenny. She was preceded in death by her father, M.J. Ham Hamilton and one son, Heath Hamilton Barnett. Services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Sunday, March 20, 2010 at the Aldersgate Church in Greenville with pastors Rick Prettyman, John Prestridge, and Jim Goodwin officiating. A reception and visitation will follow the service. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Pall Bearers are Brett Holton, Trey Warren, Warren Foster, Riley Tatum, Chance Hamilton, and Justin Lollar. Honorary Pall Bearers are Keith Kaden, Michael Sikes, Ben Foster, Will Foster, Lance Warren, Willie Andrews, Dr. David Turbeville, John Christian, Larry Hollen, Dr. Van Kaden, Paul Kaden, John Scott, Trey Bahm, Charlie Smith, Tommy Hewlett, Pat Hewlett, Kenny Foster, and Jimmy Matthews. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Diabetes Association, or the Aldersgate Church in Greenville.
