Curtis Mathew Coyle, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on March 26, 2024. Born on April 12, 1939, in Mesa, Arizona,to parents; Arthur D. Coyle and Myrtle Samples Coyle. Curtis led a life filled with dedication and love for his family, country, and work.
In his early years, Curtis served in the Army until 1963, proudly defending his country. Following his military service, he embarked on a career in construction as a skilled roofer. Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, Curtis's contributions to the construction industry were truly remarkable.
Outside of work, Curtis found joy in simple pleasures such as spending quality time with his family and strumming his guitar. His hobbies included cherishing family moments and creating beautiful music that touched the hearts of those around him.
Among his proudest accomplishments was the honor of serving his country during his time in the Army. Curtis's commitment to protecting his fellow citizens was a testament to his unwavering dedication to duty and honor.
Curtis will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Coyle; children Michael Garrett (Shelly), Cathy (Steven Pitts), Gerald (Denise), Johnny (Anna), Ronnie (Kristy); sisters Joyce Lilly and Bertie Austin; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren - with one more on the way - nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Paul Coyle, Kenneth Coyle, and Charlie Coyle.
A Funeral Service to honor and celebrate Curtis Mathew Coyle's life will be held at Peters Funeral Home in Greenville on March 29th starting at 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
