Connie Beggs

Connie Lee Neessen Beggs, age 68, of Greenville, passed away in the evening hours of Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Hunt Regional Medical Center of Greenville. She was born on November 18, 1941 to Jim and Jean (Arnold) Neessen in Kamrar, Iowa. After high school Connie attended Texas Womens University and later worked for 20 plus years as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Beggs is survived by her husband, Charles Beggs; one daughter, Cathy Creek; one son, James Stewart, and wife Joy; father, Jim Neessen; two brothers, Denny Neessen, and wife Donna, and Phillip Neessen, and wife Gayle; two granddaughters, Amy Polhemus and Amber Stewart; and two great-granddaughters, Brennah and Abigail Polhemus. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Neessen, and one son, Danny Mitchell. Services for Mrs. Beggs will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Greenville. A visitation will take place beginning at 9:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. at Humbolt Cemetery with Bishop Thomas officiating.
