Cloyse Bennett

Cloyse Garnett Bennett, age 69, of Caddo Mills, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, June 13, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. Mr. Garnett was born on May 9, 1939 in Winnsboro, Texas to E.E. and Belle Bennett. They precede him in death. He married Annie Aileen Burrous in Garland, Texas on December 11, 1963. She also precedes him in death. Mr. Bennett spent much of his life as a truck driver and in over the road transportation. Mr. Bennett is survived by three sons, Donald Ray Hall and wife Denise, Robert Hall and wife Joline, and Ronald Hall; one daughter, Donna LaFaye Fosters; three brothers, Douglas Bennett, Haskell Bennett, and Lloyd Bennett; two sisters, Onita Murphy and Claudine Rusk; 21 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Mr. Bennett was also preceded in death by one sister, Flora; and two brothers, Lige and Frank Bennett. Funeral Services are to be held today at 1:00 P.M. at the Peters Funeral Home Chapel.
