Clifford Horton

Clifford “Paw Paw” Horton, age 75, of Greenville passed away on Saturday morning, August 22, 2020. Clifford was born on October 28, 1944 in Hunt County, Texas, the son of David Woodson Horton and Ola Mae “Greer” Horton. Clifford married Marshall Louise Craver in Hunt County, Texas on February 2, 1965. Clifford was a life-long carpenter and a member of Kingston Baptist Church in Greenville, Texas.

Clifford is survived by his wife Marshall; children, Brian Horton and wife Cherry, Stephanie Stubblefield and husband Shawn; grandchildren, Shelby Estrada, Rachel Shatto, Nathan Horton, Trevor Horton, Charley Acy, Chad Rogers, Eric Rogers, Kelly Morrow, Jami Rogers; great grandchildren, Avery, Sydney, Xavier, Jaxson, Kylee, Kyson, Maddox, Jordai, Cerenity, Eric Jr., David; siblings, Loyd Horton, Mary Spradling, James Horton, Barbara Moody, Johnny Horton, Paul Horton, Bobby Horton, Steve Horton; along with numerous friends and family.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ola; and siblings, Bertha Mae Horton, Ruth Cook, Aubrey Horton, Jack Horton, and Virgil “Red” Horton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 9:00am in Kingston Baptist Church.

Funeral Service to follow at 10:00am in Kingston Baptist Church.
