Charles Leamon Wilson passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born on October 14, 1943, in Whaley, Texas and breathed his last in McKinney, Texas. Charles was a well-respected member of his community, known for his dedication to his work and his unwavering love for his family.

Born to Marie Wilson and Isrel Wagstaff, Charles grew up with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning. From a young age, he displayed an inherent talent for working with his hands, which led him to pursue a career in machining and maintenance. Throughout his life, Charles worked diligently to refine his skills in these areas and became known for his exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

But there was much more to Charles than just his career. He had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. In addition to his work, he found joy in various hobbies such as farming and rodeos. Charles's love for the land ran deep as he nurtured his animals and farm with care and dedication. His enthusiasm for rodeos showcased his adventurous spirit and brought him closer to nature.

Family meant the world to Charles, and he always put their needs above everything else. He was happily married to Sally Michelle Wilson and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. He was blessed with two children: Edmond Keith Wilson and Angela Wynette Andrews. Alongside two grandchildren, Michaela Celeste Andrews and Anissa Nichole Andrews, and two great-grandchildren, August Jeremiah Andrews and Jackson Creed Tarter. Charles treasured the role of being a father and grandfather and cherished every moment spent with them and took great pride in watching his daughter and grandchildren grow into remarkable individuals.

Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Wilson, and his father, Isrel Wagstaff, and his son, Edmond Keith Wilson. While we mourn his loss, we take solace in the memories he has left behind and the impact he has had on the lives of those he held dear.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and unconditional love. Charles Leamon Wilson's presence will forever remain in the hearts of his surviving family and friends, including his wife Michelle Wilson, daughter Angela Andrews, son-in-law Mike Andrews, granddaughters, Micheala Andrews and significant-other Zach Tarter, and Anissa Andrews and fiancé, Christopher Flores, and great-grandsons August Andrews and Jackson Tarter.

May Charles rest in eternal peace as we hold onto the cherished memories of his remarkable life.
