Charles Holley

Charles Cheesy Holley, 80, was born in Lone Oak, Texas on June 3, 1931 to Charlie and Grace Holley. He went to be with his Lord on December 18, 2011. Charles was a welder for Esco Manufacturing for many years. He married Stella Louise Herring on December 19, 1957. He is survived by his wife Stella; two daughters, Cindy and husband Ronny Bakkum of Greenville and Tammy and husband Gary Davidson of Greenville; Three grandchildren, Amanda Day, Kyra Davidson and Ryan Bakkum; two great grandchildren, Alisha Day and Trey Day; two sisters, Durene Bryant and husband Leo of Greenville and Charlene Smith of Lone Oak, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by both parents and two sisters, Juanita Tasa and Ellaweene Hilbun. His family wants to thank all of the people at Briarcliff Health Center, American Hospice, Dr. Dee McCrary and his staff for all the help that was given to Charles during his recent illness. Services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Park Street Baptist Church in Greenville. Interment will be at Halls Cemetery in Lone Oak, Texas.
