Casper Lyle Pursifull

March 5, 1951 – January 30, 2023

Casper Lyle Pursifull was born and raised in Connersville, IN. He passed away peacefully at home in Greenville, TX on January 30, 2023.

Casper is survived by his loving son Byron Pursifull, his sister’s Juelane Matney & Tina Drew, and many nieces and nephews. He was the World’s best father, a beloved brother, the favorite uncle, and a best friend to everyone that ever knew him.

Casper loved to play guitar and sing songs of the 50s and 60s. He also loved classic cars, collecting songs and music, and nostalgia. He was always working on writing a new song of which he was an encyclopedia of. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at work. He was devoted to his family  and was loved very much. One of Casper’s favorite things was to travel back to Indiana to see his family and visit the grave site of his parent’s.

Casper was a kind, gentle soul that always lended a helping hand.  Most will fondly remember him from his quirky sense of humor and his light heartedness.  He never met a stranger and was a friend to all.  Casper was truly one of a kind and there will never be another like him. 

Casper was a light among us and is watching over us now. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
