Carolyn Regene Weedfall, 71, of Lone Oak passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008 at her residence. She was born November 25, 1936 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Ray and Lena Billie Barnes Baker. She married Richard W. Weedfall on May 20, 1971. Mrs. Weedfall was a homemaker who loved living in the country and received lots of happiness taking care of her pets and animals. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Greenville, where she currently served as an elder. Carolyn was very active in her church activities and took great joy in serving on various committees whenever there was a need. Survivors include her husband of Lone Oak, son and daughter-in-law Curtis and Dianne Neel of Commerce, son and daughter-in-law Ken and Robin Neal of Waco, daughter and son-in-law Susan and Phillip Gentry of Lone Oak, stepdaughter and husband Katherine and Todd White, stepdaughter Joyce Thompson and Ruthann Weedfall, grandchildren Jody, Allen, and Tracy Neel of Commerce, Johnathan, Emily, Joshua, Benjamin, and Brian Neel of Waco, and Craig and Carissa Gentry of Lone Oak. She was preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 29, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church of Greenville.
