Brenda Osburn

Brenda Joyce Osburn of Quinlan, Texas went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2016. She was born March 15, 1944 in Forney, Texas to Grady and Nora Criswell. She married Timothy D. Osburn, Jr. on September 9, 1961. He preceded her in death in 1999.

Ms. Osburn was a retired factory worker in Point, Texas. She was a member of Authentic Life Fellowship Church in Greenville, Texas.

Ms. Osburn is survived by daughter Kim Moore and husband Robert, from Quinlan, Texas; daughter, Debbie Schunatz and husband James, from Quinlan, Texas; son, Tim Osburn III, from Quinlan, Texas; sister Barbara Garner, from Garland, Texas. Granddaughters, Christina Stevens and husband, Harry from Scranton, Pennsylvania; Charlotte Moore from Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kellie Moore from Van Alstyne, Texas; Tommie Erwin and husband Charlie from Prosper, Texas; Robbie Johnson and husband Ricky, from Caddo Mills, Texas; Crystal Highlander and husband Jonathan from Caddo Mills, Texas. Great Grandchildren, Monica Stevens, Lindsey Stevens, Julia Stevens, Shelby Neal, Emily Stevens, Abby Stevens, Ezra Erwin, Bailey Erwin, Avia Erwin, Caleb Johnson, Seth Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Hannah Johnson, Eli Highlander, Lily Highlander, and Sophia Highlander.

Ms. Osburn is preceded in death by parents, a brother, David Criswell, and an infant son, Bobby Osburn.

Services will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Friday, December 2, 2016 with Reverend Jimmy Vaughn officiating and visitation at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Thursday, December 1, 2016. She will be laid to rest in Hillcrest Cemetary in Forney, Texas. Pallbearers will be Thomas Garner, Ronnie Garner, Harry Stevens, Ricky Johnson, Charlie Erwin, and Jonathan Highlander.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or to the Parkinsons Foundation.
