Bill McElhanon

Billy McElhanon, 91, of Greenville, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 in Greenville. He was born in Clark County Arkansas, on January 26, 1928 the son of Paul and Lillie Free McElhanon. Bill married Vinita Prater in Oklahoma on August 13, 1950. She preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memory are sons, Jackie McElhanon (Melissa), James Eugene McElhanon (Gayle), Robert Wayne McElhanon; grandchildren, Jason McElhanon, Meagan McElhanon, Sean McElhanon, Adam McElhanon, Natalie Mosrie, John Paul McElhanon, Justin McElahnon; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty McElhanon Payne.

Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Lois M. Suttee; brothers, James Charles McElhanon and Robert McElhamon.

Visitation will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, September 5, 2019 with the funeral service starting at 11:00 AM at Park Street Baptist Church, in Greenville with Brother Johnny Hailes officiating.
