Barbara A. Craig, a loving homemaker and mother, has passed away at the age of 74. She was born on June 19, 1949, in Washington, PA, to her parents Alvin and Patricia Dunkle. Barbara's cheerful personality brought joy to everyone she encountered throughout her life. Her kind heart and nurturing nature made her a beloved figure in the lives of her cherished family and friends.

On a beautiful November day in 1974, Barbara exchanged vows with Larry Craig, sealing their lifelong commitment to one another. They embarked on a remarkable journey filled with love, devotion, and countless cherished memories together. Their unwavering love served as a guiding light for their four daughters - Allison Smith, Taylor Gabriella, Andrea Craig, and Crystal Lee.

Barbara's role as a mother was truly extraordinary. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to raising her daughters, instilling in them the values of compassion and kindness that she held dear. She nurtured their dreams and aspirations while providing them with unwavering support every step of the way. Barbara had an innate ability to make each daughter feel like the center of her universe.

As a grandmother, Barbara continued to radiate love and joy into the lives of her grandchildren - Aidan Smith, Aislyn Smith, Kian Smith, McKenna Smith, Brody Smith, Teagan Smith, Junior Gaston, Palmer and a great granddaughter Emlyn Smith. They adored their "Nana" beyond measure and cherished the precious moments they shared together.

Besides her immediate family members mentioned above, Barbara is also survived by her brother Larry Dunkle and sister Debi Carl. Their bond was unshakable through all of life's trials and tribulations.

Barbara's warm and caring spirit touched the lives of many. Whether it was through her dedication as a homemaker, her endless love for her family, or her unwavering support for friends, she had an undeniable impact on those around her. Her legacy as a compassionate and selfless individual will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew her.

Barbara A. Craig's passing on September 19, 2023, in Cooper, Texas has left an enormous void in the lives of her loved ones. However, the memories they shared with her will forever remain a source of comfort during this difficult time.

In honor of Barbara's life, a service will be held to celebrate her remarkable journey on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 3:00pm with a visitation before hand starting at 2:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Greenville, Texas. The family requests that any donations be made to a charity close to your heart in Barbara's memory.

As we say our final goodbyes to Barbara, let us remember the positivity and love that she brought into this world. May we carry on her legacy by spreading kindness and compassion, just as she did every day of her life. Rest in peace, dear Barbara A. Craig - your memory will forever be treasured in our hearts.
